Bizworth was one of the first companies in India to focus substantially on the area of Intangibles and Intellectual Capital, and introduced the much-acclaimed IC Rating methodology to India in 2005.
The IC Rating methodology was originally developed by Intellectual Capital Sweden AB, and acquired by Intellectual Capital Management Group (‘ICMG’), Japan in 2010. Bizworth is the India partner of ICMG.
We chose Bandoneon – an Argentine musical instrument – as our corporate logo. Bandoneon gives both melody and harmony while contracting and stretching. In the same way Bizworth expands your organisational overall sensitivity to intellectual property while simultaneously focusing attention on individual elements to harmonize and deliver stronger business results.

Our Valuation Team
Bizworth’s Valuation practice was inspired by Late S.R.Gopalan, the Founder of Bizworth. Late S.R.Gopalan was a Chartered Accountant and All-India Gold Medalist Cost Accountant who founded Dawn Consulting in 1999, after a successful corporate career with Wipro for more than two decades.

‘Suri’ J Suri : Co-Founder & President –
Valuation Services Suri is a qualified Chartered Accountant, and also holds a Master’s Degree in Commerce from Sydenham College, Mumbai. In 1980, Suri founded Suri Consultants Pvt Ltd, a Financial and Corporate Advisory firm that has since completed more than 30 years of successful, continuous service since its incorporation.
Suri has built considerable expertise in the areas of valuations, capital markets, financial instruments including options and futures, M&As, JVs, and fiscal regulations.
He is a member of AIMA, FICCI , and is a member of the Banking, Finance and Corporate Affairs Expert Committee of The Bangalore Chamber of Industry & Commerce . He is an Independent member on the Board of Directors of Indian as well as global companies. He has been a regular speaker and panelist at seminars and workshops in various countries.
G.Srinivasan: Founder and Board Member, Bizworth
Srinivasan is an MBA from IIMA, with over 30 years’ experience in Finance, Marketing and General Management across leading corporations. He advises clients in the areas of strategic finance, Mergers & Acquisitions, strategic planning advice for startups, Venture Capital & Private Equity investments. In
2000 he co-founded Dawn Consulting, a management advisory firm. Prior to cofounding Dawn Consulting, Srinivasan has worked at Wipro Finance, SRF and other leading corporates.
Srinivasan co-founded Rural Shores Business Services- a rural BPO socio-economic enterprise. He is a member of the Governing Council of IIMPACT – an NGO educating over 25000 girls in rural India. He also a regular teacher at Management Institutes.
Vijay Kumar: President, IP Consulting
Vijay Kumar is an expert in the area of Intellectual Capital, including areas like IP strategy, IP valuation, and Royalty/Licensing agreements. He has had a successful 20-year corporate tenure of building and managing companies in India.
Prior to joining Bizworth, Vijay was the CEO of Mindteck, a listed global embedded-software services company. He was instrumental in setting up the software engineering center for Tektronix, USA at Bangalore. Vijay was also COO of Raffles Software, a subsidiary of the $2.5 billion Singaporean conglomerate, MD of Many streams, a VC funded US based Product company and MD of Citec India, a subsidiary of Citec Information, Finland, one of the largest technical information management companies in the world.
Vijay is a visiting faculty at the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore and offers management programs in the area of Intellectual Capital. Vijay is an electronics engineer with an MBA from RPI, USA, and holds a PhD in Intellectual Property from the Indian Institute of Technology, Chennai.
Prakash Subramaniam: Vice-President –Valuation Services
Prakash is a MBA-Finance and CMA (USA) with more than a decade of experience in Valuation, financial modelling & analysis. Prakash been with Bizworth’s valuation practice since inception and has built significant experience in valuation of equities and financial instruments. He is also a Director at Dawn Consulting, a management advisory firm specialising in corporate advisory, M&A advisory
support, funding advisory.
